Scott retired from WWSB after 34 years as the prime anchor in the nightly newscasts at the local ABC affiliate.s a former Republican, Scott’s endorsement is evidence of the growing trend of Republicans crossing party lines to vote for a candidate who will work for this district.
“I’m proud to endorse Margaret Good for Congress. As a state lawmaker, Margaret proved she has the skills and determination to work across party lines and craft legislation that benefits everyone. That’s what we need right now in Congress,” said Scott Dennis.
This endorsement comes days after Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama announced their endorsement for Representative Good. “Scott’s voice in our community as the trusted source of news has guided us through natural disasters, elections, and other major events and I am proud to have his endorsement.
